EVERCORE: “.. We expect the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit to issue a ruling shortly after Labor Day and think it is more likely than not that the IEEPA tariffs are struck down.” 👀

Maggots, don’t bank on a Tariff Check to fund that new addition to your rusty old trailer. It just might bounce like Pedo’s payments so often do to contractors. 😡

Then what happens? Good God, this will be horrible. How do we repay and to who? This is absolute nightmare.

In my view the decision itself isn't as important as the remedy. The best one I think is to declare them illegal, but bar refunds of tolls already collected.

To be clear, if this is not struck down, every president gets to set his own tariff rates.

Agree, they will be. Like with immunity, the lower courts get it right. But that doesn't matter since then it's on to SCOTUS. That's a coin-flip. The desire to follow the law battling the desire to please Donald. I can see a 6-3 "Donald may do as he pleases" ruling.

I really thought SCOTUS would be a “no” on presidential immunity. After that I completely gave up on the majority of the justices. By the time they realize they’ve dug their own graves a lot of us will already be buried in ours.

If my free AI is right, that applies to all of the so-called "reciprocal tariffs" doesn't it? If all those tariffs get shot down, what are the odds that the Supreme Court affirms the decision?

The administration has already said they have work around if they lose in court. The tariffs will stay, unfortunately

The power of the President is obtained by divine right and it is not the Roberts' Court job to question the Lord, even when he seems to work in mysterious ways. That is where this ultimately ends.
