Does it? I have plenty following me. And don't know who is real asking me for money. I give to orgs but they can't get into Gaza now, so I fail to see how giving individuals money does anything but drive up the price of food for the few. Honestly I think about that often - my collection of beautiful, funny, heartwarming Tweets I spent years collecting on Twitter and would review every so often to bring me happiness. I had a great library built up over at The Bad Place. All gone now but I’m not going back.

@bsky.app can you respond to this? I’m requesting a feature that is the opposite of doomscrolling.

Add the accounts to a list. Then you can pin it and scroll through tweets from those accounts any time you want.

Now that they’ve added notifications for accounts it greatly improves what I see from accounts I love! But maybe there’s an account I follow but I really loved one particular otter video. I wanna save the video, not have to scroll through every other zoo post of other shit. (Though I ❤️ them all)

Just cuz one account posts something that is memorable to me for some reason (I think I said “beautiful, funny, or heartwarming” in my OP) doesn’t mean I want to follow that account. Just let me fucking bookmark it. Simple. Not for the world to see. Just mine.

It's not as convenient as a bookmark function but there is a "copy link to a particular post" function. You can store the links somewhere, like a text file, and paste them into a browser later.

There is the pin function, it works pretty much like what you want. When you see a post you want to bookmark, respond with a pin emoji (📌) and it will be stored in your pin feed.

And that explains the reason why I see anything of interest - I’m sticking to my original “funny, heartwarming, or beautiful” inclusion criteria - the responses are 📌📌📌📌📌 So now I have to sift through other people also wanting to bookmark a post? It’s junking up the responses that could meaningful.

Trying to figure this out… So I should now reply to my favorite posts with 📌 and subscribe to the Jaz Feed, so later I can return to everything I wanted to save that I marked with a 📌, but also I need to go into my settings to collectively mute everyone else’s 📌s. This is really great!

It’s almost like if there was a bookmark feature then there wouldn’t be all these superfluous 📌 replies you’re telling me I should mute. K

If you go to your settings, you can update the thread preferences!

Put a thumbtack on them, open your page, in search put a tack. It brought some of mine back for a while. I'm probably screwing something up.

What a waste of time. I’m over this suggestion of the 📌 workaround. Who has ever gone on a road trip to say “Yay! A detour! Must be more a more efficient way to get there than my map showed me!”
