0.46 grams of pure fentanyl is unlikely: too little for risk. Tablets containing 0.02 mg fentanyl (prescription dosage) & filler would make up about a dozen (13 grams).

Don't understand the math. Firstly, prescription dose is about 2mg, not 0.02. And the quantity in question is 0.46 oz. That's your 13 grams. So overall, 0.46 oz is (ballpark) 5000 doses. Not a huge amount for 2 months on a long border. I wonder how much of the interdicted fentanyl is in this class.

2 micrograms. 2 mg could kill someone.

Read the US DEA report slightly wrong. 42% of the illegal pills have 2mg or more. My dad died of morphine overdose. He didn't want to take the pill. The nurse forced it down him then left the house and refused to come back when we called (4 times) with dad in terror. Welcome to US health care.

I didn' read the DEA report, but Canadian healthcare one. 2 mg isn't the dosage in Canada for pharmaceutical grade & I've never heard of illegal pills being distributed by healthcare professionals. Terribly sorry for your dad.

The DEA report is for illegal pills. Apparently nearly half of the illegal pills are 2mg or more. Which is like "so there's your problem".
