Its the same for many of us. I ask myself “why bother?” I even fled the country, but I fear we must let the present fascist movement run its course. At the least I can watch it happen from a better, more peaceful Life abroad. America is doomed.

May I ask where you decided to go? I'm planning my exit if we don't have mid-terms because Trump has declared Martial Law. I'm shocked that many military vets & active duty soldiers actually support a draft dodger & fascist takeover. Which countries would even want to accept American refugees?

I chose Europe in 2019 and specifically Portugal where I feel welcome and I think secure. I'm very happy I left the USA.
