When I start feeling that way, I remind myself that there are still good people in this world. When that fails to bring me comfort, I spend more time with my dog.

Great point. My dogs are my rock also. They keep me going. We all are just gonna have to latch on to that one thing (or person, or animal) that brings us joy, so that we can keep fighting the good fight.
