The Dems in Congress are more or less powerless. They could have refused to fund the government and made the GOP it out amongst themselves. Other than that, and slowing down nominees in the Senate, there is almost nothing they can do We need governors, sheriff's, anyone who has a constitutional
right to use force to uphold the law and happens to agree trump is operating outside the constitutional order to get involved
That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be out protesting or trying to slow things down all the time. They’re useless.
I have more anger at the senators than the members of the house in the current moment. I am very angry that they didn't address things like the 14th amendment section 3, the insurrection act etc. during the 2021-2022 congress
