Also, some libraries have e-versions of comics that you can set up to read to you as you look at the pages!
I wonder if reading digitally on a kindle or something might be easier, because they use the panel by panel view. Would seeing one panel at a time with larger text help?
has she tried reading comics before? I know a few people they've found them easier because of the context clues from the drawings. there's also a really good graphic novel by @torytalking.bsky.social called mirror mind where she talks about growing up with dyslexia.
I used to mull over and reread passages because of my issues, focusing too much on exactly what was written. But I found that it became much easier when I focused on my comprehension. If I understand what is going on, the exact words on the page don't really matter that much.
