One of my favourite 'gun stories' is an Inuit hunter I knew. Went out for the entire summer with ONE BOX OF SHELLS for his Lee Enfield .303. No shot unless it was clear. At one point actually harvested TWO caribou with one shot. THAT'S a gun owner. Feed yr family. Feed yr community. Not yr ego.

We had an incident this week of a would-be mass shooter armed w/ AR-15 & 700 rounds who wanted to go on a hunting expedition in Westfield Topanga Mall (Woodland Hills, CA). Fortunately his gun jammed after firing off a few rounds (he was discharged from Army for schizophrenia & PTSD in 2023).

Initial explanation was it was a domestic dispute over child custody (version that travelled the World), when it turned out he didn’t know the women he stabbed after gun jammed; he left a manifesto where he expressed hatred for women & children. Sadly, aborted mass shootings don’t make the news.
