Each day, I wake up to terrible news about the USA siding with Russia to partition my country or turn it into a colony. Every day, I hate opening Twitter and scrolling through my timeline, reading all the hate directed at my country.

Every day, I hate arguing with those who support an open liar. I don’t know how to counter these lies, lies so obvious that even a 14-year-old could fact-check them. But I know one thing: I can’t stop. Too many people depend on our work. I can’t afford to stop. I can’t betray them.

there are two things: 1) you can't stay in a warm bubble, you have to make your voice heard, preaching to the choir doesn't help 2) I fundraise 100,000$ monthly for Ukraine on twitter, and I don't have the audience on any other platform. I can't afford to stop, as people depend on our aid.

I agree more people should leave Twitter. Yesterday first time in weeks I scrolled my personal list. To many are still there. But he is right. If you want to raise funds, your reach is the most important thing. So it is one of the more legitimate reasons to be active on both platforms.
