I have a collection of 1960's and 70's paperback science fiction books on shelves. I should just bin them to save space but they have memories of the times when I bought them. I'm not moving house so it's easier to let my son throw them out when I die or go to a care home.

Please don't bin them, someone out there will want them, or they'd make a great donation to a charity shop.

I don't know if you realise but when you are dead you don't have a lot to say about the matter. Charity shops don't want old paperbacks.

I suspect Oxfam Books might be interested, I picked up piles of 1960 DC comics from my local one so I would imagine there would at least be a chance they'd take your collection.
