I never understood how CEO's and other villains of our demise could do this to their own progeny. I still don't. Evil, as far as I can discern, is in fact the unintelligible.

As far as I know, Hare spoke of psychopathy without the word evil. I think it was Peck who introduced the concept of evil with his more narcissistic and Christian view. No matter. This Age of Trump is teaching us that Evil is indeed a form of Insanity - if we learn it.

Peck advocated for a medical/psychologicsl diagnosis for evil… Lobaczewski called it pathological evil in his “Political Ponerology”. And of course Fromm wrote of human evil. And there is what some of the First Nations tribes called “wetiko”, a sort of mind-virus.
