Nothing is more damaging to a party than an inability to reflect on its failures & course-correct. It’s also largely incumbent on them to represent the people. Polling data consistently show a growing divide between Dem base & its leadership & you’re telling people to just call reps? lol

You realize democracy isn’t just making phone calls to reps & showing up once every two to four years, right? Also what makes you think my area representative is a Dem? The Dems couldn’t even fight neoconservatism under Obama. How in the world are they going to fight fascism now?
