One of the issues is that there are some blue states like Connecticut & Oregon that haven’t invested in public higher ed at the levels that other states have, including some red states.

Classics? Ofc they’re gutting departments that teach one how to think. Any success I’ve achieved is due to my liberal education - for being taught how to think not what to think
