The argument that Hitler was “socialist” because the party was technically called “National Socialist Party” DOES NOT MEAN they were socialist. It was a fascist dictatorship under the guise of “socialism” when it had zero features of socialism.

Socialism benefits everyday average people. Fascism in combination with white supremacy, pro-eugenics, and ultra-nationalism wants to either deport or kill people that are different from them because they deem them all to be inferior, aka “vermin”
I should say deport, enslave, or murder. And the rest of the population they don’t do that to they force their boot down on them to oppress them.
Another example: China. They are technically called the “Chinese Communist Party” but actual true communism requires a classless society with no hierarchy. That is not what China is. Communism is also anti-capitalist, but China is at least 30-40% capitalist.
True communism would be idealistic utopia and especially in terms of Marx’s version of communism, democratic and for the working people.
Both socialism and communism have anti-capitalistic viewpoints. And America is extremely ultra-capitalist which brings about massive wealth gap economic inequality.
If you are correct, then socialism and communism do not exist. It simply cannot work and has never worked in reality.
There are many different types of socialism and ways to implement it into a democratic capitalist society in order for capitalism not to go off the rails due to being deregulated and allowing corporations to do as they wish. Communism’s fault I think is that it’s too idealistic for the real world.
The USA had the right idea of creating checks and balances of power, but clearly those checks and balances had faults and loopholes in them to be undone so quickly like they have been because look at where we are right now.

One major weakness of capitalism that creates endless widening gaps of economic inequality and injustice is that it assumes that wealth’s ladder is endless. It’s short-sighted only geared towards the mindset of “create more profit no matter what” which drains the rest of us of finite resources.
We watch capitalism fail everyone but the wealthy in reality constantly, and you dopes still trot out this stupid line.
They have never been attempted. We would have to dissolve the concept of state for communism and flatten our hierarchy to pure democracy for socialism.
Exactly! Similarly, many of us calling ourselves “liberal” are quite rigid, judgmental, moralizing. Ready to round one another up for a single misstep. #Tolerance 🏳️🌈💙✊🏿🏳️🌈💙✊🏿🏳️🌈💙✊🏿🏳️🌈💙✊🏿
