I hope we’re able to restore our democracy here in the United States. I would hate to see the constitution burn on our watch. I don’t want to see our children suffer under a selfish dictator that sees them as little more than slaves forced to worship him like he’s a God. #Resist
It's not dead yet. That will happen if the courts fall. Even if they are operating at a snail's pace, and even if in the meanwhile the US is burning... It's still, technically, a working democracy. That's one of the inherent drawbacks of democracies, and there's really no solution found yet.
Sadly Trump has ignored all the federal judges orders and Elon Musk continues to kill agencies with no pause as ordered by the judge. The judge already said they were not aboding by the orders. So, sadly it is dead since it doesn’t matter what the courts say or do; Trump and Elon control everything.
Not true. There are at least two steps I've heard about that are unfolding. One is holding them in content of court, which might happen soon if they still won't comply. The second is using force to execute court orders, and that would be done by the U.S. Marshal service.
I hope we ain’t totally fucked for good. I would like my nephew to grow up and have a family when he’s older in the American we once dreamed. Not the shit hole now. I worry for his future.
I’ve been running tons of scenarios and we may not have any choice but Civil war unless Trump changed his trajectory himself or the States cut off the fed which will lead to civil war. We’ve never been anywhere close to this since our last civil war. 😔
What we are witnessing is the death of society based on pure white privilege. All this nonsense is trying to drive PoC, women, queer people to the sidelines. It's too late. So they try to banish, exile and force us back to the 80s. Breed the white race back to dominance. Too late.
It’s clear that ethnic cleansing is a huge part of Trump and Musks plans purely based on his executive orders and Project 2025. But, any white person who apposes them doesn’t get any protection and becomes an honorary member of groups they don’t like. I’ll be in those groups because I’m fighting:
