Not to mention their lame ass football team adopted those idiotic foam cheese hats a couple decades ago even though the packing plant they named the team after mostly packed meat. I guess a foam steak 🥩 on their heads would have looked even dumber.
Yeah, our fanwear sucks. So do our old quarterbacks but they were good enough for the Vikings. 😂Put on your little horns and braids helmet Dylan and be happy knowing we elected Susan Crawford.
Those braid hats are equally lame no argument there. Rings be damned though, I’ll take our logo, team name and colors all day every day over the packers.
Wisconsin is America's Dairyland. Hence the name 'cheeseheads' in the US. A lot of Dutch emigrated to Wisconsin in the previous centuries, and in majority are GOP-voters.
Indeed. Most U.S. Dutch descendants of the Calvinists. Dutch Reform.
Hey Van, doncha know Wisconsiners are cheeseheads too!
See you at da lake for smelting Friday nigh aina hey
Nah de ice ain’t out yet doncha know. We’re jus gonna after dem crappies on lake Poygan! m.youtube.com/watch?v=7vfw...
I guess they make a lot of cheese there as well We got the name from the Belgians when there was a civil war with the Belgian Revolution in 1830 and the country split in 2 Basically the result after the fall of the autocrat Napoleon with the Germans and Britisch dividing land like a Trump/Putin
This is why we know the current 'Peace' solution from Trump won't work out We have many places in Europe divided and assigned without consultation and that will result in unrest at a later stage You see the same happening in the Middle East Now we have a stable Europe. Autocrats no likey likey
I’m going to read about that, thanks. Wisconsin license plates on cars says “America’s Dairy Land”. It’s famous for dairy farms and cheese. The population of WI is very, very German. Also a good amount of Scandinavian, French Canadian, Dutch, Danish, lots of Polish and southern Slavic
That type of cheese looks a lot like our Dutch cheese It would not surprise me there's a connection from more than a century ago Perhaps there's a lot of Dutch surnames in the area as well

There ya go 😂 In a way it's Napoleon's and king William I's fault Elon is walking around with cheese on his head This was the fake William of Orange and a moron apparently who renamed himself to the family line of the 1500's prince of Orange, count Nassau-Dillenburg
I guess they also make a lot of Gouda cheese in Wisconsin Gouda is one of those cities in NL where that type of cheese originally comes from and also still exists Those cheese hats look like Gouda or Leerdammer cheese
We still have Sinterklaas on Dec 5th for the little ones and Kermis is a fair with attractions going from town to town On the map I also see many Dutch town names between New York city and Wisconsin. New York once was New Amsterdam
The name Cheeshead was given by the Flemish because we had bloated round cheesy heads 😂 That started when the Belgians had local rallies with speeches during semi-comedy shows for the independence campaign
Dec 5th here is called St Nicks
Yes saint Nicolas (Sinterklaas). The bishop of Mira Turkey when Christianity was still a thing there
And I bet they don't appreciate a juvenile, narcissistic, oligarch (who's destroying the country) prancing around on stage, appropriating their "thing" I hope he loses every penny he has.
Exactly. He's not a real cheesehead.
He's working on it.
They take it quite seriously, and can very readily tell if it's not genuine... and they SERIOUSLY dislike the use of the symbol when it isn't GENUINE.
I'm sure you're not the only one wanting this to happen. I'd like to see him lose everything and see him lining up for handouts and get denied.
Instead of the guillotine for Musk, I'd prefer a chainsaw be used.
Appropriate ✔️
Sorry, Green Bay. A Dutchman says you’re done.
