How do they 'throw' out votes when there is no way to match a ballot to a voter once they are tabulated?!? I'm an NC poll judge, I've been through all the training. I don't understand how they aren't disenfranchising every single NC voter.

That’s been my question. If the votes are genuinely anonymous there is no way to trace them back to the people who cast them, so how can any counted vote be removed, or any ballot cured to ensure it is counted - if no one knows who that person voted for?
