I had to cut off a close friend of many years because this is no longer “just politics” And I miss her every day, but I’m mostly angry at myself for feeling that way. This showed me some ugly I didn’t know existed

I get it. The thing I remember is that they aren't the people they were, and their caring and love is entirely conditional these days. Plus their morals aren't something I'd want my kids to emulate, ever. 😞
