Cannot stop pointing out that MAHA's entire strategy is the same strategy the Tobacco Lobby took in the 1950s when science proved smoking leads to cancer: Nothing they say needs to be true. They don't need facts. They need the APPEARANCE of doubt within scientific community. That's their "proof".
Climate change is settled science. Vaccine safety is settled science. Everything scientific this regime is going after is settled science. That said, if you're not bound to stupid little things like facts, then everything is as (un)settled as you claim it to be. THAT'S the strategy. That's the lie.

These are a lot of the same people who want creationism taught in public school science classes.
More established science that goes against the propaganda they want to push. Creationism is a brainless, factless fairy tail, and it makes me furious that these people—with no sense of irony or shame—hold it above actual empirical science.
