He regularly highlighted Biden’s accomplishments. This is simply not true. (It feels like many of these commentators don’t watch the show so they don’t know.) There’s an authoritarian in the WH but y’all are bashing the guy who’s thoughtfully encouraging dems to fight or get out of the way.
You’re right! I like Ali and his show is good. He made me mad saying dems aren’t doing enough! I think most that care are working their asses off. I took his commentary personally.
I really resonated with his comments. I thought they were fair, thoughtful. Dems have been slow to fight. Their early cries for bipartisanship were shocking to me. My own Senator Schiff voted to confirm Rubio. The collective refusal to endorse Mamdani is problematic. Ali was spot in this context.

"Hearty debate" is truly subjective, beloved. You've blocked people for urging you to consider that you're also culpable for the current situation. Journalists aren't tastemakers. They report facts, not as they see them, but as they are. You editorialize quite a bit, so sit with it, man.
