In fundamentalist Christofacist ideology, neither Islam nor Judaism are viable. Jews are friends because their conquest of the land from sea to river is essential to usher in the Apocalypse and Second Coming. (After that, they’re destined for judgement.) Bigotry and racism of any stripe is now the norm. I’m old enough to remember when Abu Ghraib was a scandal denounced by both parties. Now we have the GOP lining up for photo ops like this.
