My mother got it immediately after her cancer went into remission. She was vaccinated already. She & her doctor had a chuckle “you just experienced chemo & radiation. You’ll handle shingles just fine”. Luckily she was correct
Ditto
Can confirm! Nearly cost me full use of my eye.
Ditto. Twice for me.
Right? I got them 2 years ago… so painful so horrible!🦋
I got it at 30 and the doctors won't let me get the vaccine because it hasn't been tested on people under 60 or some nonsense, uhg.
My friend who had it on her face sold me on the Pain. Get The Vaccine!
My mum had it and was terribly ill, so 100 percent agree
I knew a woman who taught oboe at the college level who experienced most lesions on her head. She sustained a stubborn Bell’s palsy, was in extraordinary pain for months and couldn’t teach for nearly a year
Terrible!
I've known several musicians who got Bell's palsy. All recovered, but losing a year of productivity while accumulating bills for occupational therapy is a huge hit
My cousin got shingles in her eye and lost sight in it. 😢
