And I don't even really blame him for that ...it's hard to call him arrogant looking at the person we have in the White House now. He is a serious person that was doing a serious job and he doesn't see himself the way others do... and he is not alone in that.. We are all flawed...
I guess I just see our party as a broad tent of people that are all doing right (well meaning) &like any group sometimes there will be those who fall out of favor or get too comfortable in the position and become corrupt, but they are not naturally so, as republicans are....
Pete is probably my favorite Dem right now..I live in a blue state. I have a democratic mayor a democratic representative 2 democratic senators at a democratic governor (at least right now) My representative is an older guy, but he's awesome he stands for everything I do (town halls CONSTANTLY)
I want women in there I want people of color, I want our party to represent everyone. I GET how everyone can't agree what is the right thing to do right now. I think some, especially the very experienced, just don't even BELIEVE this is even possible due to how serious they are about their work.
I'm not saying to cut anyone a brea, but let whoever represents you know what you would like them to do. Give them ideas what to do. Be partner in what they're doing. And ones who can't or won't... vote out!!! But they're good people. Some old, some young, old hats, or wet ears... guide them.
