I will always have a special, pretty deep hatred for how the desire of many adults to completely sever themselves from their own childhood as soon as they fucking turn 18 or 21 or whatever and harshly REJECT anything/everything that they deem to be even remotely “childish”.
Has manifested itself in this incredibly misanthropic, bitterly hateful fucking way. I would still say that I am not a Disney Adult myself, but I view the growing levels of extreme hatred/anger directed at them as a movement that’s always been extremely reactionary and capitalistic at heart.
I don’t give a SHIT about what Disney Adults do Edwards. I don’t give a crap how much they still enjoy Goofy cartoons or get emotional while visiting Disney theme parks. Focusing your hatred on the CUSTOMERS/EMPLOYEES of a massive company, rather than the actual executives and billionaires
who control said company. Is the peak of stupidly as far as I’m concerned, and (at the very least) is something that those with the ACTUAL most power at Disney also are completely fine with happening/actively encouraging. Seriously, just look at the extremely predatory/abusive
practices in place both WITHIN the Disney company itself and in how they treat their customers when, say, a lawsuit happens PHIL!!!! It’s every clear that, in all of the ways that ACTUALLY matter, Disney could actually not give less of a single fucking shit about “Disney Adults” or anybody else
who’s passionate about enjoying the works that the ARTISTS/WRITERS employed by Disney have made both in the past and currently today!!! Take this aggressively miserable, hateful bullshit that (at least mostly) serves to protect the richest and most powerful executives/directors
at Disney who ACTUALLY do horrific shit that ACTUALLY deserves to be criticized and SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS!!!!!!!
