That's not to say I support such a compromise, and certainly not the Orwellian "decarbonized oil" language, rather that if this is the direction, opening the renewables market should be a condition.
Just like with our Inflation Reduction Act and Infrastructure Law, compromises still have to be made to make progress. I agree with you. Get as much good stuff in your compromises and don't sweat the stuff you don't like too much otherwise you'll end up switching parties like we did down here
