Remember, somebody once tried to test the limits of the avarice of the world’s wealthiest men by sending them a check for 13 cents, and seeing who would take the trouble to cash it. Only two of them did, and one was Trump.
I have a check for $0.01 on my fridge for a refund. I laugh every time I see it; I'm sure it's been written off at their end.
