Why didn't tRump put his hand on the bible?
"The U.S. Constitution does not require the President to place their hand on a Bible while taking the oath of office. While it's a common practice, it's a tradition rather than a constitutional mandate..."
"...The Constitution simply states that the President must take an oath or affirmation to "faithfully execute the office of President of the United States".
Fair enough.
But as dumb as dump is, I bet he doesn't know that and would if necessary (hopefully soon in near future - lock him up!) claim he didn't take the oath because of no hand on bible 🍊🤡
He didn't want the world to see it catch fire when he touched it.
For the same reason he "takes no salary". It is to be able to claim that there is no employment contract, and he is therefore not subject to impeachment or removal under the law.
