Getting hit by a pickup is somehow the closest I’ve come? Hairline fractures in both hips and somehow that’s it. Clearly we’re tougher than trucks Soft tissue though, woof. Had a discectomy at 21

oh GOD?! I got very lucky. just foot swollen to the size of a football, golf ball size hematoma on my arm, and light road rash on my hip. it was a snowy winter so I had a parka on for a little padding to my torso/arms. it's a quality coat, I still wear it and it has permanent battle marks lol

The rare actually cool coat story, damn. That thing held up incredibly considering. I think I got lucky because I was already partially in the air so it hit me more full on and was going slowish
