To a point. Keep in mind, though, that 44% of workers in this country are not paid a living wage regardless of race or gender. We haven't had a minimum wage increase since 2009. The cost of living has gone up more than 300% since 1980 while wages have only increased 24% in the same period.

They say the same thing up here. It's not true, though. It's about exploitation. Not wanting to do the work for the pay offered has nothing to do with race.
