the military follows orders right? they are supposed to boot lick, it's the structure of the whole thing. lol. if Commander in Chief orders them to have a parade, they do it. surely you don't expect them disobey orders? i agree its absurd but at least i understand it.

In theory, the military oath is to the constitution and people, but for them to coup the regime, it would imply that high-ranking officers would have to take the risk of high treason. History teaches us that heroes are rarely the highest in the hierarchy, but people that don't have much to loose.
