Without wishing to appear sarcastic I thought Christianity was supposed to be about love, not hate. Obviously not with these extremists but certainly the church leaders. From your comment it also appears to show that they consider it a business rather than a faith. 😕
I wish it wasn't so...I went to seminary, worked as a music director and volunteered countless hours. Even the churches with the best intentions (in my experience) favor comfort and the bottom line. "Don't think critically and give your 10%".
I know I sound like I'm against the church.... I'm not but. It's like that friend or family member on drugs you love them so you desperately want them to get clean. Until then you don't leave them alone with your wallet 🤷🏿♂️
It must be difficult Charles. It doesn't sound like you're against the church, it sounds like you're desperate for it to be the institution it claims to be. I suppose that on a personal level you have your religion in your heart and that is the most important thing, but you're all being let down.
There's something fundamentally wrong with the fact that I consider myself more of a Christian than these Christian Nationalists despite not being Christian myself. I share far more values with Jesus than any of those bigots wearing crosses with their maga caps.
