I've known systems before, and I'm quite confident that there's only one of me in here. Helping them figure some things out only confirmed an answer to a question that I hadn't thought to ask myself. honestly that happens to me a lot i think its because im naturally empathetic and work to be moreso

The most important bit appears to be saying "I believe you, you're not crazy" calmly, repeatedly, and *meaning it*. It helps to also be open-minded and acknowledging that the universe is huge and weird and nobody has anywhere *near* all the answers. Roll with the punches, yo.
Yeah, believing that we are actually Like This does make a big difference. Lotta folks out there don't really internalise it, even if they say they believe it 😕
It was certainly a struggle to internalize for the system I know. And it's an ongoing process even now, years later. And sometimes I fuck up and interpret things wrong specifically because I'm just One Guy looking in at things from the complete outside. But I've never doubted that they're real.
Also I appear to be a system magnet, so at this point I'm inherently suspicious of anyone who interacts with me 💀
