So apparently, a 67 year old, cancer survivor, testing positive for Covid, w/razor blade throat variant, can no longer call their doctor and request a prescription for paxlovid.? Told must go to outpatient ER for a prescription. Insane.

Either insane new guidelines or it’s time for him to seek a new physician. To be told to go sit around other patients in a waiting room, possibly infecting them and the medical staff just doesn’t sound right.
