Spending a few days in Las Palmas and it's so nice to be among Spanish people. The vibe is so different to the touristy south.

Just looked it up. No, it's most definitely been postponed or even abandoned. I can see proof they started but it looks totally mothballed.

They introduced the project before I left Tenerife in 2017 and thought it might be finished by now lols... TF was quicker bukding its tram. Enjoy 'the capital' of the Canary Islands. I find them really friendly...The port has really deep connections with the UK. Some road nearby named after a Brit.
