I've never raised a national flag anywhere I've lived in my entire life. My Finnish rellies raise small Finnish flags on sticks for independence day but that's it. I don't know another living soul who's raised a national flag in their home.

My brother (also lives here in 🇨🇦) happens to have a flag pole at his house (nowhere as common as in 🇫🇮 by the way) and flies a flag, either 🇫🇮, 🇨🇦 or whatever he happens to have around the house, when called for (national holiday etc.)

Yeah, am the same. Have flown the EU flag when we left the union, I also hang the pride flag during pride week. That’s it. Never felt the need to own or fly the Welsh flag.
