Dumb to mimic American "greatest" posturing. If it were so, it wouldn't be necessary to honk that horn... trying to look American undermines Canadian respectability.

Bragging about our wonderful Canada can feel uncomfortable because braggers are bores. The word "best" works here as well. The reality is that we have taken our excellent fortune of living here for granted a bit. We now find ourselves realizing how important these great things are to us.
