Why is ballot access and issue in August 2025, when this election isn't until 2026? I know Kansas is weird, but....

It appears it's because they had already submitted everything, and there's no Kansas mechanism in place to change out one member once they've completed the entry process. But he can start the full process over again with a new running mate.
