Hitchcock wrote a scene where Thornhill needs to speak with the foreman of an automobile assembly line. As he is escorted to meet the foreman, we see car assembled from start to finish. When the car rolls off the line, a worker opens the driver's side door and the corpse of the foreman tumbles out.
