On a slight side note, I gave Th1rt3en a spin recently and it’s a lot better than I remembered — especially since it’s got the reworked lost 90s tracks... but holy crap is Chris Broderick boxed in. Same with Kiko. I wish those guys just let loose like Marty.
Agree on Kiko/Chris 13 is a mixed bag, there's 4 really good tracks, a bunch of meh filler and some duds. Enough juice to get an occasional spin but nowhere strong enough to be considered a good album IMO
Which are the standout tracks for you? I really dig Public Enemy #1.
Sudden Death : This one rips Guns, Drugs, Money: yeah sue me I like this song Never Dead: Fairly decent uptempo track New World Order: Doesn't hold a candle to the version w/Marty on the Duke Nuke soundtrack (not the same as the remaster demo) but it's a standout on this album
I quite like Black Swan
I know you do, I would've preferred it stayed buried
I prefer it to TSTBATD Nothing on it is as good as The Dogs of Chernobyl though But neither are close to top tier or mid
That's fair, I prefer TSTDATD but only by a slight margin and I agree with the overall assessment
I always liked Th1rt3en It has some great songs on it but totally agree, Chris and Kiko weren't used to their abilities

My god those Hangar 18 licks are pure wizardry — and the Poison Was The Cure solo is insane 🤣
Brilliant
