Sounds like economic disaster is a good way to get people angry enough to throw out a regime. Any option to eventually return to normal will require a significant amount of pain. Everyone slept while the painless options passed by.

Sure it can! It’s only $150 billion and it’s sitting in the Treasury. I’m being totally serious here. Seriously, it’s not that much; just our annual tax revenues alone are $6 Trillion (with a “t”). Which, btw, there is 0% chance tariffs could dupe. Better yet, just take it from the ICE contract(s).
