Heard from a close friend in DC that the occupying forces have arrested a few observers who were documenting their actions. Not a surprise, but that’s an escalation from how things had been.

I continue to get the feeling that the administration, through it's military, wants to invoke a violent response from the protesters. It would be an excuse to declare martial law and suspend most civil rights, including next year's elections.

I can confirm this is true. They were also harassing an NPR reporter earlier in the week for simply trying to do her job. Tread carefully when filming ICE agents.
