If you -live near an airport with Avelo flights (currently still includes some West Coat locations) -live in a city or state that subsidizes Avelo -are part of a university community connected to Avelo -have access to email, a phone, or social media you can do something. 2/
-Near an airport with Avelo flights? Plan/join/support an airport protest. Pressure airport boards to refuse to work with deportation contractors. -Live in: Salem, OR Volusia County, FL Lakeland, FL Salt Lake City or Delaware ? Call on city councils or state lawmakers to end those subsidies. 3/
-Alum, student, faculty, parent, grandparent, etc., with ties to: Yale University of New Haven Colorado State University Quinnipiac University or East Carolina University ? Push your school to end its partnership with Avelo—send letters, organize petitions, raise visibility on campus. 4/
-Anyone: *Call/email Avelo’s leadership directly (call script/email template: www.groundavelo.org/leadershipto) to demand they drop the ICE contract *Use your social presence to flood Avelo's social accts during peak travel times *Sign the traveler pledge+share it on social to help expose them 5/
How to explain to folks who don't know what Avelo's doing: -Avelo is deporting people, secretly & for profit -They're doing it with public subsidies (taxes) -If Avelo gets away with this, other airlines will follow -If Avelo is pushed hard enough, other airlines will see it’s not worth it 6/

I think the real approach should be to distribute this video far and wide and each time link Avelo to it, so that more and more people see what it is doing and then contact it in anger. Public opprobrium can do wonders.
