Hearing @jbpritzker.bsky.social say "if you hurt my people" makes me cry the same way him saying "may their memories be a blessing" during his daily Covid press conferences. I haven't often felt like someone in power was actually grieving with, angry for, fighting alongside me. Thank you, Governor.
I’m guessing he’s Ukrainian. I’m Ukrainian and this guy is EXACTLY like my dad. Maybe a values thing… An Unscared Santa Clause is exactly what most situations could use. Truly love JBs empathy. He is wealthy but no wealth will ever soothe his broken heart for others. Beautiful man working. 🇺🇸
This is kind of amazing, because he's Jewish, and his family came here to escape Russian pogroms - from Kyiv Governorate...! So yes, his roots are in Ukraine!
