PS I want to be clear that I'm in no way suggesting that there hasn't already been & will continue to be a terrible cost. When people said "we survived Reagan, we'll survive this" in 2016, all I could think of was all the people who hadn't. That's why it's so important that we fight HARD, NOW.

Also, I was around during Reagan. This is far worse than that. Also, we are still digging out from under that malign era. “Didn’t kill us” is an awful goddam standard.
