It was hard to listen to the press conference, but I think it was worse to watch all of the Texas GOP women standing behind him with huge smiles and nodding their heads, “mmhmmm”-ing after each outrageously stupid thing that he said.

It's sad. I thought I looked kinda pretty as a blonde. I'd never bleach again (or tan), given it a sort of dog whistle now. At least I learned to love my dark hair and pasty tone. And yeah, as a mom, I never want him discussing my kid's health. He can eat lead!
