Assuming Democrats ever gain power again, they won't charge anyone with anything because they won't want to look "political".

We failed Reconstruction because of that kind of thing. We failed to protect the promise of the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act because of that kind of thing. We cannot fail again.
