He could start a substack, maybe feel less conflicted, but reach a fraction of the audience preaching to the already converted.
Substack has issues as well. (IIRC Nazi's. money talks, capitalism, etc.)
Oh, I'm not saying he should quit. I mean, he should but then he doesn't have the voice he has. I'm just saying that the NYT isn't worthy of his work and/or reputation. But capitalism makes many of us compromise. 🤷🏾♂️
