Oh yes, the well known phenomenon that rich people attain enough money and then no longer care about making more money.

If true… give everyone a billion dollars.
I wonder what the number is that allows that to happen. like I have 35B, I'm good.. But, 34,999,999,999.. You Need to make more?😜
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
😂😂
honestly, it would be kinda nice if rich people cared about money the way regular people care about money — as safety, comfort, the ability to plan for the future — rather than the way they care about money — as an endlessly-growing high score that entitles them to rule over other people
I was told that if we taxed them properly they’d sit on their thumbs and not create any of those sweet, sweet jobs for us. I’m so confused. It sounds like they are actually absolutely in love with the thing they hoard the most and are very influenced by it.
I know a number of billionaires. It's ALWAYS about competing with each other. Forgive the crudity but money is the dick measuring stick of their universe. A few want power, but that's usually just a means to get money. Most want women (not Thiel haha!). Power and money help them with that goal, too.
I read an article a few years ago about an extremely rich family ($$$ from oil); their financial advisors instruct family members to think only about themselves and how they can get even richer. Sad. 😞
One way to get even richer, according to the article: Lie about where you live. The article was about the family firing and suing one advisor because she refused to lie …
Surely once they have a billion dollars or more they won’t be as…Oh, wait, I’m being told that’s wrong and, in fact, being absurdly rich seems to make many of them even more rapacious.
Yes that's why they're so keen on paying taxes.
Yeah, that’s how it was with me for sure!
Same. Now Im like, meh. Same as Leon!
This exactly. They are so hungry for money the more they have the more they want. It’s obscene
