it’s liberals that allowed fascists the power they have. the only real opposition to fascism is socialism.

Thank you, I wrote liberal where I probably should have said progressive. I simply don’t find Democrats to be an opposition party.

progressive isn’t really a political position. its just kind of relative to what’s currently going on. I like where your heads at but the only real opposition to fascism is socialism. hitler jailed communists, but thanks to a combination of mccarthyism, reaganomics, and citizens united-

a real communist party has no chance in the US government. so banking on a new party to fix things is unfortunately unrealistic. we used to be able to impeach politicians for taking bribes. but now it’s the norm, and the few good ones often don’t win votes in congress.

the government needs a serious overhaul. unfortunately it’s getting the wrong one right now, but the only people who have the power to stop it are bending over backwards for it.
