Maybe not, but he's the only person I can see from over here in the UK who is properly challenging Trump and standing up as a Dem leader I know your parties don't work like ours, but the Dems need a visible vocal head to get behind, sooner rather than later - primaries in 2027 will be far too late
You're in the UK and your media has its own slant. there are, actually, a fair number of people fighting him, but perhaps not with Newsom's obnoxiousness. JB Pritzker, governor of Illinois, is doing great work. As is Tim Walz. Plus millions of people on the ground who hold no office.
They're not cutting through on a national scale though...yes Pritzker is good, particularly with the Texas congressmen but it's still not a uniform front to take on MAGA I know your parties aren't like ours but a few disparate voices isn't a movement
